This is a BBC site with a wealth of learning resources and games suitable for children of all ages and covering a wide variety of subjects. The area marked KS1 would be suitable for children in Preparatory to Junior School (although Junior School children may want to start using resources in KS2). The area marked KS2 is suitable for Middle School I to Upper School II children (although children in Upper School I and II may also want to try some of the resources in KS3). This is a free site and no password or login details are required.
Encyclopaedia Britannica is an excellent information tool; good for quick searches and in-depth research. This is a subscription based resource made available to all children here, in our Learning Zone.
Lumosity is a resource for cognitive exercise, designed to enhance brain health and performance. We would recommend this site for children who are preparing for competitive entry 11+ exams and for Public School pre-tests. You may wish to subscribe to this service.

Mathletics covers all UK national curricula from KS1 to 5 including the Curriculum for Excellence. Every child from Middle School upwards will have their own username and password, which can be obtained from the Maths Coordinator.
