WELCOME FROM THE HEADS OF GARDEN HOUSE SCHOOL
Welcome to the Garden House School website. We have a unique model of three Schools in one: Early Years, led by Mrs Julia Adlard, the Boys’ School, led by Mr Christian Warland and the Girls’ School led by Mrs Annie Lee. We work together as a team to ensure the three schools are united by a common purpose and shared identity, offering a vibrant and purposeful learning experience to all our children. From Year 1 the girls and boys are taught separately but have plenty of opportunities to enjoy each other’s company at lunch, in whole School events, in after school clubs and on trips out of school. This structure allows siblings to attend the same school but be taught in an all-girls or all-boys environment. Our children are between the ages of three and eleven years.
The School is a happy, purposeful and secure environment where the children feel valued and encouraged to develop their self-confidence along with a love of learning. We teach an academic curriculum and offer many opportunities for them to enjoy Drama, Music, Art and Sport. Our children are busy, fulfilled and challenged. Their hard work and passion for academic study, enables them to gain entry to the most selective London day schools and boarding schools, carefully chosen to suit each child’s academic and co-curricular strengths.
We enjoy working with an outstanding team of skilled and caring teachers and assistants, who recognise and celebrate every child as an individual, enabling them to fulfil their potential. Garden House children develop strong foundations for their future education and for the rest of their lives. They are articulate, considerate to the needs of others and are happy to share their talents and experiences. We are very proud of all they achieve.
Alongside this, we teach the importance of good manners, the need for kindness at all times and the value of establishing lifelong friendships. We have supportive parents and foster a partnership with them, which we believe to be crucial to achieving our aims for the children. We nurture a warm and lasting relationship with our parents.
This website contains a wealth of information but nothing is better than seeing the School and meeting our children for yourself. We look forward to showing you round our wonderful school.
