Located in the heart of Chelsea, London, Garden House School is a friendly, family-run school for girls and boys aged 3 to 11.

We believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, confidence and enjoyment, while providing children with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in the future. Our nurturing environment encourages every child to discover their strengths, develop their character and enjoy learning.

From reception onwards, girls and boys are taught separately for most academic lessons, helping them get the most from their learning. At the same time, they come together throughout the day for a wide range of activities, friendships and shared experiences. This unique approach gives children the benefits of both single-sex teaching and a vibrant co-educational community.

With a strong sense of family, excellent teaching and a broad range of opportunities in and beyond the classroom, Garden House School is a place where children are encouraged to be themselves, aim high and enjoy every step of their school journey.

Garden House is a caring family-run school guided by the Principals, Mr Christian Warland and Mrs Sophie Strafford, both of whom attended Garden House School as children.

Mr Warland was Head of Garden House Boys’ School for fourteen years. Mrs Strafford was Registrar at Garden House for twenty-two years.
