Welcome to Garden House School

Garden House is a unique, family-run school for girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 11; providing the best possible foundation for their future education and adult lives.  From Reception, the girls and boys are taught separately for most academic lessons but they have numerous opportunities to interact and collaborate with each other during the school day, giving our children the very best of both worlds.

We have supportive parents and foster a partnership with them, which we believe to be crucial to achieving our aims for the children. We nurture a warm and lasting relationship with our parents.

A FAMILY-RUN SCHOOL

Garden House is a caring family-run school guided by the Principals, Mr Christian Warland and Mrs Sophie Strafford, both of whom attended Garden House School as children.

Mr Warland was Head of Garden House Boys’ School for fourteen years. Mrs Strafford was Registrar at Garden House for twenty-two years.
